MASSAGE THERAPY & sCAR THERAPY IN Alderney, Guernsey

Remedial Massage is a targeted massage treatment aimed at those with chronic pain and injuries that require specific treatment.

Such things can include neck pain, headaches, migraines, joint pain and injury, muscular tightness and injury.

I don't diagnose, and so depending on what you are presenting with I might need to refer you to a GP or another medical professional...but I will do my best and use all the techniques in my tool bag that I have learned and put into practice since February 2011.

Soft tissue is my area of expertise...well ok, I don't actually consider myself an expert as there is always more to learn and new research and science coming out, and I try to keep up with new information, and the best way to treat soft tissue issues!

What I don't do these days though is offer regular maintenance/relaxation massage - not because there is anything wrong with this, there isn't and it can be extremely beneficial for people in either repetitive occupational situations, or playing a lot of sport, or for stress relief. I just don't offer it as I prioritise scar therapy and injury treatment.

What is Soft Tissue?

In terms of massage, soft tissue is the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia, or connective tissue...anything soft that lies under the skin!
